Katherine Heigl Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction While Accepting Award

Timing is everything, just ask poor Katherine Heigl. The actress was in Las Vegas last night to accept her ShoWest Female Star of the Year award when her dress strap broke and almost gave the audience a little more than they bargained for.
As she was giving her speech, the strap of her red Donna Karan dress snapped, and host Billy Bush had to rush up to assist her. He held her dress in place while she regained her composure and finished her speech. Her rep told Us magazine: "She appreciated Billy's 'support." HA.

Once she got off the stage somebody found her a safety pin and she could carry on with snapping pictures and mingling worry-free for the rest of the evening.

Bush took to Twitter about the hilarious incident: "Oh my. Hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks...I hold her top on while she accepts!"

While everyone shared a laugh at her expense during the show, the ShoWest managing director praised the star for her transition from the small screen to movies earlier in the night. He said: "Her comedic timing and flair for acting are showcased in each of her roles and have captivated audiences around the globe."
